Is Service Prep Fire connected to any fire service?
No. Service Prep Fire is an independent study resource. We aren't endorsed by or connected to any Australian fire service, and we can't guarantee selection.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and get access for 90 days from the date of purchase. Nothing renews automatically.
Which states do you cover?
Practice tests for the Fire Rescue Victoria Written Selection Test and the Queensland Fire Department cognitive assessments are available now. NSW, WA and SA have fitness (PAT) and interview courses. Other states are coming — join the waitlist on each state's page.
Do the tests include mechanical reasoning?
Yes. Mechanical reasoning is the section most firefighter applicants haven't seen before. Our tests follow the FRV format of 32 mechanical reasoning questions in 20 minutes, with an explanation for every answer.
What if I don't pass?
If you complete your course and don't pass your written test, you can ask for a refund. Email admin@serviceprepfire.com.au from the email address on your account within your 90-day access period, with a copy of your result. See our terms for details.
Are these the real test questions?
No. The real tests are run by ACER, Pearson VUE and other providers, and their questions are confidential. Our tests are written to match each test's sections, timing and question styles so you can practise under realistic conditions.
Can I study on my phone?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. There's nothing to install.
How do I access my course after paying?
Create an account at checkout. After payment your tests and courses appear straight away in your account, on any device you sign in on.
